Battery pack replacement on a Alfa Metro E- scooter

Hi guys.. hope things are well. Today was something new as did the first battery pack replacement on an E- scooter, which I personally use for my errands. It's a Chinese make which is marketed under the brand name "Alfa"locally.

Symptoms of a weak battery

For sometime now have been noticing that my range has been dropping and the charge level indicator too not been accurate. Latter stages at the time of acceleration the battery indicator starts to blink and tend to get a hum from the rear wheel, which is from the motor. The charge and everything else was normal except on standby didn't last more than a day.

Replacement of batteries.

It took sometime to figure out how to remove the panel and take the batteries out. well now it's a breeze and the whole process took us about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. This pack consisted of Six 12V - 21.8 AH batteries.

After dismantling the voltage was checked individually and the bad ones were identified. Managed to get the replacement ones and had to replace four at the moment. Cleaned and touched up the corrosion spots on the tray compartment and refitted everything back. After that gave a full charge using the charger pack and in about 3 hours it fully charged. So after that drove off and back to work as usual.

Sorry couldn't get any pictures or videos of the process which I'm still kicking myself for it.
